Background

I'm a protein engineer with 15 years of R&D experience in protein science research and development. My career has spanned large pharma discovery engines and focused biotech teams, giving me perspective on how to deliver results in different organizational contexts.

At Regeneron, I contributed to antibody discovery platforms that generated clinical candidates across multiple therapeutic areas. At Prothena Biosciences, I led protein engineering efforts for programs targeting challenging neurodegenerative disease targets.

I founded BiocheMichael Industries to bring this expertise to teams that need specialized protein engineering support—whether that's a startup looking for strategic guidance or an established company tackling a specific technical challenge.

My approach combines hands-on experimental design with computational tools. I believe the best protein engineering comes from integrating structural insight, biophysical understanding, and iterative optimization.
